Jaya Prada started her career with Telugu Movie Bhoomi Kosam in 1974. After three years, the Kannada film industry was transformed in 1977 with the movie Sanaadi Appanna. Jaya Prada made her Bollywood debut in 1979 with the movie Sargam. After this, his other Hindi movies were also released. Jaya Prada has released movies in all languages of India.
Politician Career
As a member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Prada was elected to the Lok Sabha (the lower house of the Indian parliament) in 1994. In 1999 and 2004, she was re-elected to the Lok Sabha and has served in various capacities within the TDP, including as a member of its political affairs committee.
Prada joined the Samajwadi Party (SP) in 2010 after leaving the TDP. As a member of the SP, she was re-elected in 2014. As a result of a falling out with the party leadership, she was later expelled from the party in 2018.
During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Prada ran as a BJP candidate for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In the end, she did not win a seat in parliament and lost the election.
